Select the units you want to convert "Convert from" and "Convert to".
When you enter a value in "Convert from", the value will be converted and displayed in the "Convert to" field.
You can also change the number of digits to calculate using "Number of significant digits", or separate the results into groups of three digits.
By changing the value in the "Number of significant digits" field, you can change how many significant digits are calculated for the converted value.
The number of significant digits can be selected from 5 to 50.
If the calculation result is greater than or equal to the number of significant digits, the result is displayed by rounding off to one more digit than the number of significant digits.
If the "Thousands Separator" box is checked, the integer part of the calculation result will be displayed separated by commas every three digits.
If it is not checked, it will be displayed as is.
Commas make it easier to keep track of the number of digits in large numbers.
Clicking the "
" button for "Convert from" and "Convert to" will swap the values and units of Convert from and Convert to.
This is useful when you want to convert the conversion result back to a different unit.
The value you entered in the "Convert from" field and the units you selected are saved in your browser.
Even if you close your browser, you can easily check the previous content when you reopen it.
You can easily check values converted into units other than the one selected in "Convert to".
Below the conversion results there is a column called "Convert XX to other units." Clicking this will display a list of the values converted from "Convert from" into other units.
Once you perform the conversion, a link to the conversion result will be displayed in the "Link for conversion results" column.
By accessing the URL of this link, the same content as the input Convert from value and the conversion result will be displayed.
